About the role
We are looking for a Business Development Manager who can identify and build strong, lasting strategic relationships with new and existing partners in the industry. Along with relationship building, you will be be expected to work with partners and drive Vested’s business with them.
Location
Remote (based in India, Mumbai preferred)
What you will do
- Build, manage, and grow new strategic partnerships and leverage existing and past partner relationships
- Reach out to new partners, conduct presentations for prospective partners, negotiate deals and agreements, and account manage those agreements
- Onboard partners and maximize the likelihood of a long term and beneficial partnership
- Work with the product and tech teams to launch the partnerships
- Develop, own and track the forecasts and metrics for partners
- Communicate and report to the leadership team progress of pipeline and forecast of future opportunities
Prior experience
- 3+ years experience in Business Development or a similar role of growing business via partnerships and alliances
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, MBA from a top university in India preferred
- Experience within a tech/fintech company or a startup is preferred
- Prior experience of execution of strategies and tactics developed by the leadership team
