About the role

As a Quality Assurance Analyst you will work closely with the Engineering and Product team to help maintain a high quality bug-free product. You will work across the entire development life cycle and across multiple Vested products. You will be responsible for performing the end-to-end testing of functional capabilities and third-party integrations in our web and mobile applications.

What you will do

• Prepare testing scope and system specifications
• Translate functional requirements and specifications into documented test plans, cases, and steps
• Maintain and update test strategies, regression plans, cross-feature plans, etc built by other members of the team
• Execute test cases (manual or automated) and analyze results
• Create logs to document testing phases and defects
• Document/report testing bugs and errors and follow-up with IT for closure
• Create and maintain test data
• Perform manual functional / regression testing
• Actively collaborate with developers and product managers to shape new development and deliver product releases
• Build and contribute to test infrastructure and tools to improve Vested's QA capabilities

Prior experience

• 2+ years of work experience in a QA role preferably in the digital space. Previous experience in investment-related products is a plus.
• Automation experience - At least 1+ years of automation scripting using the Robot Framework, testing experience is preferred. Tool - Selenium, Protractor, Appium, etc. is preferred.
• Database testing, SQL knowledge, basic programming language (Java, node JS) is preferred.
• Graduate / Post-Graduate Degree from a recognized institute.
